Pancake Creek 2-day Kayak & SUP Expedition (Coming Soon)

Adventure Rating: 3/4 Strenuous Level

Long days paddling, some headwinds, early starts

Coming soon, dates to be announced, message me if you are interested.

This adventure takes you up middle creek, crossing over to pancake and finishing at secluded tropical beach at the mouth of package creek.
Many people call this location paradise and you will not be disappointed.
Where we camp is complete with it’s own spring trickling down from the hill above and a close walk to the panoramic sea views from Bustard Head lighthouse and the sand dunes running directly into the crystal clear water of Jenny Lin Creek.
Pancake Creek is a location only accessible via boat, which means very often you hardly see a soul out in this idyllic location.
It really is the perfect campsite, the water is crystal clear, palm trees swaying in the breeze, and just the sound of the ocean to enjoy the afternoon to.
Timing & Tides
Getting the tides right allows us to paddle with the tide going upstream middle creek, then crossing over to pancake creek, then catching the outdoing tide to the mount of pancake
.
How fit do you need to be?
You’ll be paddling for about 6 hours each day at a moderate pace, so it’s 2 long days of paddling, however you’ll be paddling with the tide, although we often encounter a headwind for the last hour or two of each day.
You don’t need to train for it if you’re a fit and healthy person, but expect to be tired at the end of each day. Mostly a very happy and satisfied tired though! We will be paddling at a pretty relaxed pace – the aim is to enjoy it, not have a race.
I will also provide a full “kit list” – all the small details of stuff to bring closer to the start date, right down to how many clothes etc to bring.
What to expect?
Magical remote location, wildlife, great chats around the campfire, that satisfied tired feeling at the end of each day. A sky full of stars and a connection back to nature for the weekend!
We start at daybreak on Saturday – around 6am at Middle creek.
