We cover all the fundamental skills including rigging and getting on and off the highline, safety and how to mount and take your first steps.

This weekend intensive is designed to focus on achieving the fundamentals you need in order to take your first steps on a highline.
I’ve seen the reasons people don’t get better at slacklining and never progress to highlining, and I get frustrated when I see so many people never get people or never able to highline because they never learn these required fundamentals.
It’s these fundamentals the course is focusing on giving you.
I’ve taught slacklining, highlining, snowboarding and skiing, as well as training in movement and posture techniques, meditation, martial arts and emotional control.
I have a very good idea on the best ways to help you learn and achieve your goals.
You will also learn basic rigging techniques – allow you to help others to rig highlines and know what to look for to check highlines are safe before you jump on them.
What’s Included:
- All highline equipment and tuition.
What’s Not Included:
- You will be required to supply your own climbing harness – you can purchase one at a climbing shop for around $100 if you don’t already own one.
Location & Timing & Participant numbers
The highline is 40m long and 40 min high, perfect for learning on.
Min 3, max 6 participants.
Booking & Cancellation Policy.
A full refund will be issued if you cancel at least 60 days prior to the start date. Cancellation less than 60 days prior to the first day of the retreat will result in the loss of the full trip fee. Registrations may be transferred to another person that could use it for the same trip.
Rescheduling
Oasis Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to insufficient registrations (minimum of 3) or unsafe (weather) conditions. If Oasis Adventures cancels a trip, you will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer your payment to a future trip.
